Our farm volunteers do amazing things helping to keep our farm in tip top shape. At times we have openings for new volunteers.
A volunteer performs a variety of farm work including harvesting and manual labor using garden tools, wheelbarrows, pitch forks, hoes, etc. This requires the volunteer to be in good physical condition in order to stoop, bend, kneel, and squat for long periods of time and carry heavy idems. Volunteers work once a week on Monday, Wednesday or Friday early morning for 5 hours. Volunteers receive a share of the vegetables for their work.
Volunteering is a great experience to gain practical knowledge of organic and biodynamic principles we follow at Moss Hill.
If you are interested in volunteering you will need to sign a 'Release and Waiver Agreement'.
